🌱🎨 Got a story to tell about the legacy of Prathertown? Put it on a mural!
Prathertown Community Development Corporation invites you to submit a mural design that celebrates the history, resilience, and beauty of Prathertown a Gaithersburg, Maryland neighborhood. This is an opportunity to contribute to a lasting visual tribute to our historic community, founded in 1883 by emancipated person, and to share your creativity with the public.
We are seeking original mural designs that would fit on a 4 x 4 space that reflect the spirit and heritage of Prathertown. Submissions are open to all ages, with a special encouragement for youth and emerging artists to participate.
Submission Deadline: June 15, 2026, 5 pm
Winner Announcement: June 19, 2026
Prize: $250 (awarded to one selected winner)
